Change Management
Change management has several areas that must be considered: It is important to know how change is managed at your site. Also, you need to know whether revision control is needed for all objects and whether revisions need to be communicated to the target system. Also, consider whether your site controls changes to all objects using CNs and whether your site needs to make updates to CNs after they are created in the target system. Modifications to CNs can include, but are not limited to, changes of effectivity dates on objects listed on the CN.
Multiple processes manage change in an organization. Change management is allowed through two different methods: CN controlled publishing or object controlled publishing.
