Updating a Repository Type
Existing repository types can be updated in the following ways:
By assigning or changing the super repository type to which the repository type belongs.
By adding or changing the description.
To update the repository type, use the following procedure:
1. Display the Manage Repository Type page by clicking the corresponding link in the gray navigation bar on the left side of the window.
2. Under the Manage Repository Type heading, select the repository type to be updated from the Repository Type drop-down list.
If the repository type has an associated super repository type or description, they then appear in the Super Repository Type and Description fields respectively. Otherwise, the fields remain blank.
3. Make any updates to the Super Repository Type and Description fields:
Select a super repository type from the Super Repository Type drop-down list. All available repositories are displayed in the drop-down list.
Add a description, or edit the existing description, by typing in the Description field.
4. Click Update.
The updated repository type is saved in LDAP.
