Creating a Repository
To create a repository, use the following procedure:
1. Display the Manage Repository page by clicking the corresponding link in the gray navigation bar on the left side of the window.
2. Under the Create Repository heading, enter the name of the new repository in the Repository Name field.
Throughout the Task Delegate Administration utility, this field specifies a hierarchical structure. The value must be formatted as an Internet domain name which is the hierarchical structure that uniquely identifies the repository, for example myHost.myLocation.myCompany.com.
3. Choose a repository type from the Repository Type drop-down menu.
*
If the drop-down menu is blank, you must first create a repository type.
4. Choose a webject processor from the Webject Processor list. Hold down the CTRL key while selecting to select more than one webject processor. This field selects the adapter that executes webjects operating on the repository. Any available Info*Engine adapter is displayed in the drop down menu for this field.
5. Choose a task processor from the Task Processor list. Hold down the CTRL key while selecting to select more than one task processor. This field selects where tasks implementing higher level actions against business objects held by, or business processes running in, the repository are executed. For example, either an Info*Engine server instance or a Windchill adapter could be a task processor.
Enter a description for the new repository in the Description field.
6. Click Create.
