Deleting a Type Identifier

A type identifier can only be deleted if it no longer contains any delegates. Otherwise, an error will occur, and the type identifier is not deleted.

To delete a type identifier, use the following procedure:

1. Display the Manage Type Identifier page by clicking the corresponding link in the gray navigation bar on the left side of the window.

2. Under the Manage Type Identifier heading, select the repository type that contains the type identifier to be deleted from the Repository Type drop-down list.

3. Select the type identifier to be deleted from the Type Identifier drop-down list.

4. Click Delete.
