Opening a Part
To display an part in an explorer, use the following procedure:
1. Select > .
2. In the new window that opens, enter search criteria for the object. Click the attribute details
icon to modify the search criteria that display.
| When you enter information in more than one field, the search looks for object that match all values; object that match one criterion but not another are excluded from the results. Use an asterisk (*) as a wildcard in the fields to modify your search. Also, for the Name and Number fields, you can select Not Equals from the drop-down list to exclude criteria from the results. |
3. Click Search.
4. In the Results pane, two tabs appear: Results and Iteration History.
◦ From either tab you can do the following:
▪ Highlight an object and click the information page
icon for the selected object.
▪ Click the attribute details
icon in order to modify the columns that display in the table.
◦ From the Results tab, select an object and click the Iteration History tab to view the iteration information for the selected object.
5. Select a object you want to open, and click OK.
or
Double click the object you want to open.
The selected object appears in the explorer window.
