Installation and Configuration
This section describes the installation and configuration for Windchill Integration for Software Build Tools. This product is included with Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software.
Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software is a PTC product solution with the following optional integrations:
• Windchill Integration for Bugzilla
• Windchill Integration for IBM Rational ClearCase
• Windchill Integration for Atlassian JIRA
• Windchill Integration for Subversion
The Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software product solution is comprised of:
• Windchill Integration for Integrity
• Windchill Integration for Software Build Tools
• Windchill Integration for Eclipse
The Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software product solution documentation is available in the Windchill Help Center under “Integrated Software Management” section under “Integration with Other Application”.
The Windchill and Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software product solution server software and optional server integrations are installed using the bundled PTC Solution Installer (PSI).
Defect Tracking System (DTS) and Software Configuration Management System (SCM) software are installed standalone, and can be installed before or after the server installation and configuration of Windchill and Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software.
DTS and SCM software must be configured for use with Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software.
