Installing Windchill Integration for Software Build Tools
This section describes the installation and configuration for Windchill Integration for Software Build Tools. Information on certificate-based authentication is also included. Throughout the sections, Windchill Integration for Software Build Tools is called Software Build Tools.
To install the Software Build Tools client application, perform the following steps:
1. Download the webservices-api.jar file (Windchill web services API) from the WindchillSoftware Downloads page to the desired location on the client machine.
2. Set up the Java Web Service (JWS) environment by copying webservices-api.jar to $JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/endorsed/.

If there are multiple instances of JRE installed on your machine, ensure that you include webservices-api.jar in the correct JRE.

3. Download the webservices-support.jar file (Windchill web services support file) and the RBMWebServiceCore.jar files (Software Build Tools client application) from the WindchillSoftware Downloads page. Place them on the client machine in the location from where you want to invoke the Software Build Tools client application.
