Server Alert in the Refreshed Web Interface
When you are working in the Refreshed Web Interface with workflows and documents, an Administrator can send alert messages to any user who has logged in to the Windchill RV&S server. The alert messages appear in a window at the top of the page.
The alert message displays who sent the message, the server it came from, the time it was sent, and the message. Alert messages are plain text only and do not support rich content. To close the alert message window, click
X or the ESC key. For more information on

• Alerts are displayed only when the user is logged in to the server.
• If the alert is closed by the user, then it will not reappear except for the following conditions:
◦ When the user logs in to the server again.
◦ If the administrator sends another alert from the server.
• When the alert is closed on one tab of a browser, it is automatically closed in all the other open tabs.
• All the accessibility features are supported on alert pop-up windows.
