Configuring the Item Titles in the Refreshed Web Interface
You can display the titles for the items in all the interfaces of Refreshed Web Interface by configuring the MKS.ItemTitleField property.
To configure the MKS.ItemTitleField property, the administrator must set the value for the property:
1. Select > .
2. Select the type, right-click, and select Edit Type.
3. In the Edit Type window, select Properties.
4. Select the MKS.ItemTitleField property.

5. Right-click and select Edit. The Edit a property dialog box opens.
6. Add any visible field in the Value field.
For example, if you set the Summary field as the value for this property, the following is displayed in the Refreshed Web Interface:
◦ The Summary column for the item is displayed.
◦ The summary of the item is displayed in the Header below the document ID in DocStudio, Item View, Item Edit View, and Relationship View of the Refreshed Web Interface.

• PTC recommends adding a short text field as the value in the Value field. The value must not exceed 250 characters.
• If only partial content of the short text field is displayed in the browser, hover over the partial content to display a tooltip with the entire content.
