Section
The sequence and grouping of fields in a section are maintained from the presentation template. However, the placement of a field in the Item View may vary from its position in the presentation template.
For example, in the presentation template grid, consider fields Employee ID, Department ID, Registration Details, and Group ID appearing in the following sequence:
The placement of the above-mentioned fields in the Item View is as follows:
• Fields Employee ID and Department ID are placed in two equal-sized tiles as they are Integer type fields.
• The field Registration Details is placed below fields Employee ID and Department ID. It consumes an entire row as it is a tabular field.
• The field Group ID is placed in a single tile below field Registration Details as it is an Integer type field.
Group Section Heading
The group section heading comes from the prefix PTCWCRVS that is added to an existing text style in the presentation template. If there are no text styles with PTCWCRVS as the prefix, then the sections in the Refreshed Item View corresponding to the grid titles appear as Section 1, Section 2, and so on.
