Working With Rich Content
Rich content enhances long text fields by allowing you to format text, lists, tables, symbols, background colors, images, OLE objects (GUI only), and hyperlinks. For large documents, you can enhance the organization and navigation by inserting bookmarks in rich content fields and cross-references to those bookmarks. For more information, see Bookmarking and Cross-Referencing Documents.
Your administrator configures which long text fields in item types allow rich content. In addition, your administrator can define Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Such style sheets ensure a consistent look when viewing and printing rich content field information in different Web browsers.
From the CLI and API, rich content is expressed using a limited set of HTML elements and attributes. For more information, see Supported HTML in Rich Content Fields. In the GUI and Web interface, rich content is added using the toolbar buttons.
You can insert rich content from a local source, such as image attachments in the item or image files from your local machine. You can also copy and paste rich content from an external source, such as from a web site.

If an inserted content is downloaded using Mozilla Firefox ESR browser, correct the file extension, to open the file successfully.
