Working with Logging Text Fields
In the Refreshed Web Interface, you can view and edit Logging text fields for an item type in Item View and DocStudio.
To view logging text:
2. Navigate to the logging text field.
In the Item View:
You can only view up to four lines of logging text for each entry in the logging text table. A vertical scroll bar appears to view data spilling beyond four lines.

If multiple entries of logging texts exist, only the first three entries of logging text are visible in the field.

In DocStudio:
You can only view up to two lines of logging text in the view mode. If logging text exceeds two lines, a horizontal ellipsis is visible.

If multiple entries of logging texts exist, only the first entry of logging text is visible on the Content pane.

3. Click

to view logging text in the full screen mode. You can also view logging text history, if any, in the full screen mode.
4. Click

to return to the view mode from the full screen mode.
To edit logging text:
1. Open the item in Item View or in DocStudio.
2. Click Edit.
3. Navigate to the logging text field and click in the logging text field that you want to edit.
4. Add the comment in the logging text field if in the Item View and on the
Content pane if in
DocStudio or click

to add a comment in the full screen mode.
| You can use the  drag handle to resize the editing area while editing in the full screen mode. |
5. If you are editing in the full screen mode, click

to return to the
Content pane.
| • In DocStudio, if you click outside the row while editing, the row is highlighted to indicate that there are unsaved changes in the document. In addition, the  icon is not visible if there is no value in the field. • To resume editing, click the highlighted column. |
6. Click Apply and then click Save.
The logging text field is updated with the newly added comments.
