Modifying the Default Windchill RV&S Landing Page
As an alternate method, you can also modify the default landing page to insert links to client executables and product documentation. The links are inserted automatically when you copy the applicable files to the following server directory:
installdir/data/public_html
You can also create a specific HTML file, sitenotes.html, to provide links to other custom information.
To insert links to client executable files:
1. Copy the path of the client executable files into the InstallationList.properties file located in the installdir/data/ directory.
2. Reload the Windchill RV&S landing page.
To insert links to product documentation:
1. Copy the documentation links in the DocumentationList.properties file located in the installdir/data/documentation directory.
2. Reload the Windchill RV&S landing page.
To provide links for custom information:
1. Create an HTML file and save it as sitenotes.html in the installdir/data/public_html directory or rename the sample file provided as sitenotes.html.
2. Enter the custom link information, excluding the tags for BODY and HTML.
3. Reload the Windchill RV&S landing page.
