About Editing in DocStudio
Editing in DocStudio enables you to edit the content in the content pane or modify the structure in the OUTLINE pane.
The Edit option enables you to edit both the content and structure. When you edit the content, you can update the different content fields in a document. DocStudio provides an easy-to-use rich text editor for editing and creating the rich content.
Editing the structure allows you to insert, delete, copy, or move content sections in the document structure.
You can work only on one editing feature at a time. It can be either the structure in the OUTLINE pane or the fields in the content pane. When you edit the structure, content editing is disabled. Similarly, when you edit the content, structure editing is disabled.
Edit OSLC Link-Enables you to create or edit the OSLC links between the following:
Windchill RV&S Document Model items and Windchill Modeler resources
Windchill RV&S Document Model items and Windchill parts, Component Resource, and Version Resource.
For more information on creating or editing OSLC links in DocStudio, see the "Windchill RV&S OSLC Client" guide.
