• You can create a cross-cutting perspective only when the document is not being edited.
• Default fields that are part of the document type in DocStudio View are included as columns in the cross-cutting perspective. However, if the Type field is not a default field in DocStudio, it is still added as a column in the cross-cutting perspective.
• While creating a new cross-cutting perspective or adding content to an existing cross-cutting perspective, the content selected from a asOf document gets added to the cross-cutting perspective with asOf date configuration of the document.
• Inserted and included documents cannot be added to a cross-cutting perspective. However, contents from included documents are available for selection in DocStudio and can be added to a cross-cutting perspective.

The name of the cross-cutting perspective can contain a maximum of 100 characters. The description of the cross-cutting perspective can contain a maximum of 500 characters.
