Adding an Existing Parameter
1. While creating or editing an item, navigate to the tab that contains the Parameters field.
2. Click
in the Parameters table.
The Add Parameter window opens.
3. Select Existing.
This option is selected by default.
A list of parameters from the top-level hierarchy and those that are defined in the current item are listed.
| You can add parameters only from the top hierarchy. |
4. Select the parameters to be added and click Add.
The selected parameters are added to the Parameters table and become a part of the item being edited. The Defined In column of the Parameters table displays the ID of the item in which the parameter is defined.
| A check box is not available to select parameters that are previously added. |
