To create configuration management policies

4. To specify the type of project the policies apply to, click Next.
5. Select the type of project you want the policies to apply to. The available types are:
Normal applies the policies to a project based upon the current state of the project. Click Finish. The policy editor displays. Proceed to step 6.
Variant applies the policies to a project based upon a specific revision of the master project.
From the Development Path Name list, select a development path name, for example, Aurora_Beta_Variant.
*
The Variant option is unavailable if there are no available development paths. To create a development path, see the User documentation.
Deactivated development paths are not shown in the Development Path Name list.
Click Next.
6. Expand the project to select the specific subproject that you want the policies to apply to. Click Finish. The policy editor displays.
7. Modify the policies as required to create the new project policy section for the selected project.
8. To accept the changes, click OK. The new policy section is created and displays in the right pane.
*
You can also delete a newly added policy section. To delete the policy section, highlight its icon, and select Policies > Delete.
