Create a time entry when editing an item

Open an item for editing and click the Time Entries tab.
In the desired row, select the date cell you want to record time to, and type the amount of time spent working on the item in hours. All time entries are formatted to two decimal places.
Optionally, you can include notes in the Notes field after you specify a duration.

Create a time entry from the Time Entries view

Do one of the following:
• If you are creating a personal time entry, select > .
• If you are creating a time entry for another user, select > .Select a user using the data filter, and then click OK.
Under the Item column, click the <new> cell, then type the ID of the item that you want to add time entries to, or click the browse button to select one or more items from an Items view.
In the desired row, select the date cell you want to record time to, for example, Wed 3. The view updates to display the item you specified and a new blank row to specify a new item.
Type the amount of time spent working on the item in hours. All time entries are formatted to two decimal places.
Optionally, you can include notes in the Notes field after you specify a duration. To commit the time entry information to the database and close the view, click OK. If you have the My Time Entries or Time Entries view open, the Total row and column display the new time entry totals. If you added a note to the time entry, displays next to the duration indicating that it contains a note. |

Click Time Entries on the right side of the title pane.
If you are creating a time entry for another user, select a user using the data filter, and then click OK. Time entries (if any) for the selected user display in the Time Entries view.
