The Windchill Requirements Connector uses the Requirements Interchange Format (ReqIF) as file format for the exchange snapshots. This section provides an explanation of the ReqIF specification and the implementation within Windchill Requirements Connector.

For convenience the Windchill Requirements Connector creates a zip-file (*.reqifz) containing the ReqIF files for the exported documents itself and the folder containing the referenced attachments, OLE files, and pictures which are zipped inside the folder.
