Audit trail
Audit trail or audit log is a chronological sequence of audit records, each of which contains historical information resulting from the execution of import and export operations for a configuration or an batch-error if something goes wrong during the automatic execution.
Audit records are systematically created by Windchill Requirements Connector.
The following files are stored in a audit record:
roundtrip configuration
Is a read-only copy of the configuration at the time when the configuration was executed. Its name corresponds to the original configuration.
audit file
Stores the actual audit record. Stored as audit.audit.
HTML report
Generated by an export/import operation or a batch-error listing details about the exchange and the protocol log. This report is generated from the audit file. Stored as report.htm.
HTML diff
Generated by an import operation with updated documents listing the difference between the documents in the snapshot and the documents in the data source. Stored as preview.htm.
zip archive or reqifz archive
Is the generated archive of the RIF/ReqIF documents used by an import operation (currentImport.zip).
replicaDB directory
Is a copy of the local metadata database store. This directory does not exist when using the global replication.
Exchange Summary
An exchange summary is created for executed exports. It is an RTF file that gives the receivers of the exported RIF files an overview what specifications are included in the RIF files.
