Set tool options for roundtrip
While creating a Roundtrip Configuration, the user can set common RE/RM tool options.
1. In a project which uses global replication, select the server from the list next to Server. This drop down list only exists if the roundtrip is created within a project which uses global replication. The fields to set tool, host and port will be filled with the data from the global replication configuration. They are greyed out and read-only. Only the user can be set.
2. If a login configuration exists, you can select an existing login configuration in the drop down list next to Login configuration. Make sure the checkbox next to Login configuration is checked. The remaining fields will be filled with the data from the login-configuration and are greyed out.
*
In a project which uses global replication only those login configurations are offered, which can be used with the selected server.
3. If no login configuration is used (the checkbox next to Login configuration is deselected):
a. In a project which uses a local replication, the tool, host and port has to be set in the corresponding fields. You can set the name of the user next to the field User
b. In a project which uses global replication you can set the name of the user next to field User
4. Click Finish to create the roundtrip configuration.
A new roundtrip configuration has been created and the provided login data has been set in the Connection tab.
