About Textual and Graphic Information Elements Requiring Update Report
When a part associated with a service structure is updated, the Windchill Service Information Manager user needs a way to identify the changes and then make the required changes to the corresponding service data. You can achieve this by generating the Textual and Graphic Information Elements Requiring Update report for a service structure. This report displays a list of service data objects that are associated with parts that were updated.
To view a Textual and Graphic Information Elements Requiring Update report, select a service structure root. In Reports action set, click Reports > Textual and Graphic Information Elements Requiring Update.
The report contains the following information:
General information:
Product— Displays the name of the product.
Information Structure or Publication Structure— Displays the name of the service structure.
Executed By— Displays the name of the user.
Time of Execution— Displays the date and time of running this report.
Filter Properties— Provides a link to the filters applied to the selected object.
— Click the remove update required flag icon to remove the flag if no changes are needed or if you have updated a service data. This action removes selected service data from the table. You can select complete list of service data in the table by selecting the topmost checkbox in the table.
Attribute information table:
You can select one or multiple service data objects in the table. Right-click a row to open the View Updated Parts dialog box to view the updated part to which the service object is associated. The table provides the following information:
— Click this icon to navigate to the information page of service object.
Name— Displays the name of service object associated with an updated part in a service structure.
Number— Displays the number assigned to service object associated with an updated part in a service structure.
Version— Displays most recent version and the view of service object associated with an updated part in a service structure.
State— Displays the Life Cycle state of an updated part in a service structure that is associated to service object.
Last Impact Change— Displays the latest date and time of change in a part that is associated to service object in a service structure.
You can view the location of a service data object in a nested structure. If the selected object is associated to more than one service structure, the Where Used dialog box displays all the associated structures. Right-click a row in the report and click Where Used to open the dialog box. The structure can be expanded or collapsed to locate service objects at different levels. For more information, see Where Used Tab. This is an optionally enabled feature.
