Export the Source Database and LDAP Structure

Export the Secret key before exporting the source database and LDAP structure, if applicable. Refer to the section Exporting the Secret Key for more details.
Export the source database and LDAP structure at the same time to ensure data consistency. Windchill server must be down.
Export the database using one of the following procedures, based on your platform:
• Exporting the Oracle Source Database Using Data Pump
• Backing up the SQL Server Source Database
After exporting the database, export the LDAP structure: Exporting Source LDAP Structure from Windchill Directory Server.
