Setting Security Labels while Creating Objects
When security labels are enabled, many objects include a Set Security Labels step during their creation process.
On this step, the Security Labels table displays the default security label values for the object type being created. The default security label values can be specified using object initialization rules. For more information, see Setting Security Labels Using Object Initialization Rules.
You can select the desired value for each standard security label from the drop-down lists, or you can accept the default values. You can enter the desired value for each custom security label in the text box. If you leave the custom security label value blank, all users are authorized for that custom security label.
*
If you set a security label value for which you are not an authorized participant, you will not have access to the object once it is created.
After you create an object, you can change the security label values using the Edit Security Labels action, if you have sufficient access rights.
