You can control which parts are included in or excluded from the product structure display by defining the product structure filter criteria.

When you select a filter, it is immediately applied to the product structure to show the configuration of the product that includes the correct part versions and the parts that meet filtering criteria. When Product Structure Explorer is launched from the HTML page in Windchill PDMLink, the filter used on that page is also used when the Product Structure Explorer window is launched. Otherwise, a latest configuration specification, with the default options filter, is used.
