Adapter for Oracle Applications Problems
The following lists how to deal with problems that may originate in the TIBCO Adapter for Oracle Applications.
Verify that the adapter instance is deployed and running
Validate adapter deployment configuration settings
Verify that adapter deployment names are unique
Validate the Oracle Applications connection parameters defined by the following global variables (case-sensitive):
ESIOMAdapter/Datasource
ESIOMAdapter/DBUserName
ESIOMAdapter/DBPassword
Validate that the Windchill ESI distribution targets (ESITarget) attributes sent from Windchill PDMLink are consistent with the Oracle Applications connection parameters defined in the adapter deployment configuration. These values are case-sensitive. Adapter timeout errors may be caused by a mismatch between parameters in the adapter configuration and the attributes on the ESITarget object created in Windchill.
Validate the BusinessWorks domain user name and password (on the Configuration tab of the adapter deployment configuration)
Validate that the Oracle Applications user name and password (on the Custom tab of the adapter deployment configuration) are correct and that the account is valid.
Isolate any problems with Internationalization or locale configuration settings
All locale parameter values must be valid (For example, chosen from the list of acceptable possible values).
