Troubleshooting Creo View Web
Creo View Web enablement with Windchill and its usage is simplified allowing all Windchill users to access digital product data in a simplified form. Some of the issues faced during installation, configuration or usage are listed below. If your issues can not be addressed through the ones listed here, raise a Product Case with PTC Technical Support team.
Installation
1. Windchill installation failed when I select Creo View Web option: Report a PTC Technical Support case. Attach installation logs for further investigation.
2. Post installation, unable to locate my Creo View Web preferences:
a. Check availability of preferences under Utilities > Preference Management. Under Visualization category, check for the Preferred Viewer Platform and Prompt for Viewer Platform Selection on Launch preferences. If options are still missing then follow next steps.
b. Check Windchill version from Windchill shell or Help > About Windchill and identify if Creo View Web is installed with Windchill. If this component is not available then Creo View Web is not installed. Follow the instruction from the installation guide to install Creo View Web.
