Aligning Images in the Rich Text Editor
You can align images left, center, or right in a rich-text field. On view-only pages (such as an information page), the content appears saved, and you cannot edit it.
Aligning an Image
1. Open the object in Create or Edit mode and click inside the rich-text field.
2. Insert an image (if needed) using the Insert Image icon on the editor toolbar.
3. Click the image to display the image toolbar.
4. Click Align on the image toolbar and select left, center, or right. Center is the default alignment.
5. Save your changes.

The image toolbar includes an option to choose in-line display or text break, use it to control whether the image flows within text or appears as a separate block.

Image Display Behavior in Read-Only Mode
In some Windchill locations such as information pages, the rich text is shown in a read-only display mode, so you can view content as authored without editing it.
In read-only display mode:
• The editor body is non-editable.
• Images are not draggable.
• Links are clickable (including linked images).
If an image needs a different alignment, open the object in edit mode and update the alignment as required.

|
• Image-only content: If a rich-text field contains only an image and the image has no alignment styling, by default the image is center aligned.
• If alignment looks different in a table or folder browser: Open the editor’s full view to verify the authored formatting. If an image needs a different alignment, open the object in edit mode and update the alignment as required.
