Enhancements in the Variance Effectivities
Windchill 13.1.0.0
Description
The following enhancements are introduced in Windchill 13.1.0.0:
Displaying Effectivity End Range
The end range for variance effectivities is displayed when the start range and end range are the same. The preference Display of the Effectivity End Range controls the visibility of the effectivity end range.
Displaying Default Variance Effectivities
An empty (unassigned) variance effectivity is displayed when no pre-existing variance effectivity exists for an affected object. When the Default Variance Effectivity preference is set to Date (default), the date effectivity record is created for the affected objects in a variance. When the preference is set to None, an empty effectivity record is created for the affected objects in a variance.
Creating New Variance Effectivities
You can now selectively control the creation of variance effectivities for affected objects in a variance. You can select an object and can create any type of variance effectivity. You can also view the total set of variance effectivities.
Other Editing Actions
The actions Copy and Add Effectivity, Set Effectivity Attributes, and Set Effectivity Type are not supported in rows that contain unassigned effectivity types. The actions Modify Effectivity, Effectivity by Version, and Specify Propagation are not visible in these rows.
