Associating a Rules File With a Generic Process Plan
After creating a rules file for a generated process plan, you need to associate the file with a generic process plan. For more information on the rules file, see Rules File for Generated Process Plans.
Procedure
1. In PPB, open the generic process plan that needs to be associated with the rules file, and click Insert New in the Documentation tab.
2. In the New Document dialog box, select Document from the Type list, and then click Browse to select the rules file you created.
3. Access the associativity.properties.xconffile located at Windchill/codebase/com/ptc/core/foundation/associativity.
4. Specify the document type of the rules file as given in the following property:

The rules file is copied over to the generated process plan. Ensure that this file is not deleted.
