Routing Plan Tab Toolbar Actions
The Routing Plan tab appears in the Process Plan Browser only when you open a routing plan in the context of a process plan. The following actions appear in the Routing Plan tab toolbar:

Description
View Information
Open the information page of the routing plan.
Check out
Check out the selected objects. For more information, see The Check Out/In Action Set.
Undo Checkout
Discard the changes made to the selected objects. For more information, see Undoing a Checkout.
Check in
Check in the selected objects. For more information, see Checking In an Object.
Check Out and Edit
Select Check Out and Edit, if the routing plan is currently checked in. Check Out and Edit combines the checkout and edit actions in one click. Use this action to change the description and version of the plant associated with the routing plan. The Edit Routing Plan dialog box opens when you click Check Out and Edit action.

Edit
Select Edit, if the routing plan has been checked out. Use this action to change the description and version of the plant associated with the routing plan. The Edit Routing Plan dialog box opens when you click Edit action.

Edit Common Attributes
Edit the Name and Number of a routing plan.
Update Filter
Update and save filter criteria for a routing plan. You can define or edit a filter using the Edit Filter action available in the Structure tab of the Process Plan Browser. After defining or editing, you can click the Update Filter action to update the filter criteria for a routing plan. For more information, see MPMLink Filters.

Once you use the Update Filter action, the system remembers the filter settings for a routing plan.
