Copying a Standard Control Characteristic
In the Process Plan Browser, you can copy a standard control characteristic from the Control Characteristics tab and the process plan tree structure.
Copying a Standard Control Characteristic From the Control Characteristics Tab
To copy a standard control characteristic from the Control Characteristics tab of a Process Plan Browser:
1. Select the standard control characteristic in the process plan tree structure.
2. Select the Control Characteristics tab.
3. In the Control Characteristics tab toolbar, click Copy Standard Control Characteristic. The system copies the standard control characteristic to the clipboard.
4. Browse to the location where you want to paste the standard control characteristic and click
Paste. The system creates a record of the standard control characteristic.
For example, after copying, select another operation in the same tree structure. Right-click and select
Paste.

Copying a Standard Control Characteristic From the Process Plan Tree Structure
Consider that a standard control characteristic is present under an operation in the tree structure of a Process Plan Browser.
1. Select the standard control characteristic.
2. Right-click and select Copy.
3. Browse to the location where you want to paste the standard control characteristic and click
Paste. The system creates a record of the standard control characteristic.
For example, after copying, select another operation in the same tree structure. Select the
Control Characteristics tab and click
Paste.
