An occurrence for part usages with a unit value other than “each”, commonly referred to as non-each usages, can be created through Windchill. Occurrences for non-each part usages can be created using the same actions as occurrences for part usages with a unit value of “each”.

Preferences such as Enable Copy with Usage Link Attributes or Automatically Create Occurrences for New Usages influencing occurrences also support occurrences for non-each part usages.

A non-each part usage may have a single occurrence while part usages with a unit value of “each” may continue to have the same number of occurrences as is defined for the quantity of the part usage with unit “each”.
