Editing an Operation or a Standard Operation
Perform the following steps to edit an operation or a standard operation:
1. In the Structure tab of the Process Plan Browser, select an operation or a standard operation.
2. From the Editing section, click Editing > Edit Operation. The Edit Operation dialog box opens. Alternatively, right-click an operation or a standard operation and select Editing > Edit Operation to open the Edit Operation dialog box.

The Edit Operation action is disabled if you select multiple operations or standard operations. It is also disabled if you select an operation or a standard operation that is already checked out by another user.
3. The Edit Operation dialog box displays the operation or standard operation details. If you create any custom attribute for an operation or a standard operation, the Edit Operation dialog box also displays these attributes. Edit the Description, Long Description, and values of the custom attributes based on your business requirements.

4. Click Check In to check in the operation or standard operation. Optionally, you can also click Save. In this case, the values of the attributes are updated, and the operation or standard operation remains checked out.
