Creating New Illustrations for All Operations in the Process Plan Browser
Use the New Illustration for All Operations action in the Process Plan Browser to create new illustrations for all the operations present under a process plan.
Consider that one or more operations are present under a process plan. Perform the following steps to create new illustrations for all the operations present under a process plan.:
1. Browse to the Structure tab of the Process Plan Browser. From the process plan tree structure, select the process plan.
2. Right-click and select Illustration > New Illustration for All Operations to create new illustrations for all the operations.
Key Points
The system creates illustrations for each operation under the process plan including the ones under the sequences and sub operations.
The system does not create illustrations for standard operations.
The New Illustration for All Operations action creates new illustrations for all the operations present under a process plan. After creation if you relaunch this action, the system displays the following message: The illustrations for all the operations under the process plan are already present.
Once the implementation of the New Illustration for All Operations action is complete, the system opens any one illustration in Creo Illustrate. You can later open any illustration associated with the operations in the process plan.
The system does not create illustrations for operations for which one or more illustration already exist.
The action is available only when the Manage Illustrations with Creo Illustrate preference is set to Yes.
The action is disabled for the process plan which it is checked out by another user.
