Nonconformance Information Page
A nonconformance information page is a collection point for information related to a Windchill Nonconformance process. For more information, see The Windchill Nonconformance Process.
You can access the information page of a nonconformance by clicking the information icon , typically from a Tasks table or task window.
From the information page, you can perform actions, as well as view attributes and any related information to the nonconformance process. For an overview of information page functionality, see About Information Pages.
Actions
The following actions are available from the Actions menu in the upper left corner of the information page.
Action
Description
Rename
Reidentify the nonconformance with a new name, number, or organization identifier. For more information, see Renaming an Object.
Set State
Manually change the life cycle state of the nonconformance. For more information, see Setting the State of an Object.
Subscribe
Request notice of events that impact the nonconformance. For more information, see Creating a Subscription.
Enter Nonconformance details
Edit the nonconformance. For more information, see Create a New Nonconformance.
View Material Report
Open the Nonconformance Material Report, which is a one-page report that, when printed, is typically attached to the nonconforming product for traceability. This report is also known as a traveler report.

New CAPA Request
Create a new CAPA request from the nonconformance. For more information, see Creating a New CAPA Request from a Nonconformance, Customer Experience, or Existing CAPA.
Edit Access Control
View the current permissions on the nonconformance for any user, group, or organization that you can access. If you have the required permissions, you can change the current ad hoc access control permissions that are in place for the object. For more information, see Access Table.
Tabs
The following tabs are available on the nonconformance information page. You can customize the tabs that appear on each object information page to display the information most useful to you. For more information, see Customizing Your Information Page Tabs.

Details
Overview information about the nonconformance, including the current state of this nonconformance process.
See Attributes for a list of common attributes available in Windchill.
Structure
More detailed information and related objects to the nonconformance process in a structured view. Select an object in the Nonconformance Object Structure table to see the object’s attributes in the Attributes pane.
To edit items in the Structure tab, see Edit a Nonconformance from Any State.
Timeline
See a visual timeline of the nonconformance management process, along with a specific record of each event in the History table of the nonconformance.
If you have the required permissions to view the audit trail for the nonconformance, click the audit trail journal icon . For more information, see Nonconformance Audit Trail.
If Windchill Business Reporting is installed at your site, click the report icon to view the record in detail.
Nonconformance Management
Related tasks, related personnel and locations, associated objects, and other items associated with a nonconformance in a table format.
If you have the required permissions, you can do the following:
Update the Associated Process Objects and Associated Reference Objects tables by clicking the edit details icon .
Update the Related Tasks table by right-clicking an object and selecting an action from the menu.
Content
Primary source content and other attachments for a nonconformance.
Changes
If the nonconformance is linked to a CAPA request or a regular change request, then any related changes appear on this tab.

Routing/Process History
Information about workflows that have been executed so far in the nonconformance process.
Members
The team associated to the quality context.
