Predefined Roles
Windchill includes many predefined life cycle states and roles. You can define additional states and roles by adding them to the RoleRB.rbinfo resource files. Defined states and roles are added to this list when you recompile the resource files and deploy the class files to your production environment.

When you add a value to an enumerated type (for example, by adding a role in the RoleRB.info resource file), removing that value can result in a serious runtime error. Do not remove a role unless you are certain there is no reference to it.
