Sorting the Version Column in MPMLink
You can sort the Version column at the following locations:
• BOM Transformer
• Search window of Process Plan Browser (PPB) tree picker
• Manufacturing Resource Browser (MRB)
Consider a scenario where you search for an object based on a Number. In such a scenario, the system displays the search results showing several versions of the same object. You can then sort the search results according to the version number.
Additional Information
• The system allows you to sort the Version column only if the versioning scheme is numeric. To sort, the system refers to the values that you have set in the Sort Order preference. The valid values for the Sort Order preference are ASCII sort order and Natural sort order.
• You can sort the column Version column for objects such as parts, resources, or any other supported business object in the MPMLink browsers mentioned above.
