The Windchill database and AI Part Search Index database have separate backup and restore processes, each with its own schedule. Because these operations are independent, restoring Windchill from an older backup can cause inconsistencies between the two databases. To handle this, the system uses runtime reconciliation. At runtime, the Windchill client plugin filters out AI Part Search Index database results that do not match the current Windchill state, so you only see the correct data.
