Prepare for Single Sign-On (SSO) > Microsoft Entra ID Configuration Example

Do not change any of the Entra ID configuration options you previously selected for ThingWorx.

The configuration described in this section must be performed in Entra ID after installing and configuring the ThingWorx server for SSO and prior to installing and configuring the Experience Service. These configuration changes will be made to the same Entra ID instance that was installed when you configured the ThingWorx server to use SSO.

1. Ensure that you have already configured ThingWorx so that you are using Microsoft Entra ID to implement SSO capabilities.

2. Update the ThingWorx App Registration in Entra ID

3. Register the Experience Service as an app in Entra ID.

4. Register the Vuforia Studio (IDE) as an app in Entra ID.

5. Install the Experience Service, and select Entra ID as your provider on the Authentication screen, and enter the appropriate information under OpenID Provider (OP) Configuration.
