Manage Edit Permissions on a Procedure
|
As of Vuforia Expert Capture 1.1.12, new procedures will no longer be available to all users in the organization. The creator of the procedure must edit permissions to allow individual users or the entire organization access to view the procedures in Vuforia Editor.
|
Access the Share Action
If you are the creator of a procedure, you can manage permissions for your procedures using the Share action. You can access the action from the following places.
• The EDIT tab
• The PUBLISH tab
• The DETAILS tab
• A procedure tile on your MY EDITOR page
• The MY EDITOR page when in List View
| This allows you to edit share permissions for multiple procedures. |
Edit Permissions and Share Procedures
From the SHARE window, you can search for organization members to add and give permissions to, or you can grant access to all members of your organization. When you’ve finished adding members and editing permissions, click SAVE.
The following permissions can be assigned to procedures in Vuforia Editor:
Permission | Description |
None | User cannot view or edit the procedures or its objects |
Read | User can only view the procedure and its objects. |
Edit | User can update permissions, share, and edit the procedure and its objects. | Users are also able to rename Captures, images, and videos. |
|
Varied | User has been given read only permissions for some objects and edit permissions for other objects in the procedure. |
You can view the editing permissions from the DETAILS tab of a procedure.
