Package Dependencies
A package dependency allows you to specify dependencies that must be in place for proper deployment of a package. You can add, modify, or delete package dependencies only for unpublished packages. After a package is published, you can view the package dependencies but cannot add, modify, or delete them from the package.
Accessing the Add or Modify Package Dependencies Page
On the Add or Modify Dependencies page, you can perform the following tasks for unpublished packages:
• Specify package dependencies when creating a package.
• View or update dependencies on an existing unpublished package.
You can access the Add or Modify Dependencies page for an unpublished package as follows:
• From the
Find Packages page, select an unpublished package and click
NEXT, or double-click an unpublished package. For more information, see
Find Packages.
• If you want to access the page for the unpublished package that you just created or selected, click > > .
Accessing the View Dependencies Page
On the View Dependencies page, you can view the dependencies that have been defined for a published package.
You can access the View Dependencies page for a published package as follows:
• From the
Find Packages page, select a published package and click
NEXT or double-click a published package. For more information, see
Find Packages.
• If you want to access the page for the last published package that you created or selected, click > > .
