Saved Asset Searches
A saved asset search allows you to filter the list of assets available in Software Content Management and save that set of search criteria for future use. Saved asset searches are primarily used when creating a deployment. For more information, see
Create a Deployment.
From > > , you can view the saved asset searches that you have created,
create new searches,
edit existing searches, and
delete searches that are not used in a deployment. Saved searches are user-specific, so each user can view the default
All My Assets search and any searches that they have created.
The asset search functionality is comprised of the following panes:
• A filters pane on the top left. On this pane, you can filter the assets by asset type, keyword, and advanced search criteria. You can name and save your filters as a saved asset search.
• The Saved Asset Searches pane on the bottom left. All saved asset searches are displayed in the table. The All My Assets search is listed by default. To narrow the list of displayed searches, you can enter text in the filter field. To display the results of that search in the search results pane, select a saved asset search from the table.
• The search results pane on the right side. By default, all assets are shown in this pane until you apply filters or select a search from the
Saved Asset Searches pane. To narrow the search results, you can enter text in the filter field. In some cases, you can select rows in the search results table to add those assets to the target assets for a deployment. For more information, see
Select a Saved Asset Search for a Deployment.
