Due to a change in Java 11.0.17, customers could have problems using signed extensions that were signed using Java 8. ThingWorx Extensions impacted include:
• Thingworx Manufacturing Apps
• Navigate
• DPM
• Thingworx Apps ( FSU Apps)
• SCM extensions
Customers using any of the above extensions should not upgrade to Java 11.0.17 until updated versions of the extensions are available.
Additionally, any customer signing their own extension will need to resign using Java 11.
This issue impacts all Java 11.0.17 versions including OpenJDK and Corretto.
