Setting Permissions for Integration Connector Activities
Users who are not in the ThingWorx Administrators group must have special permissions to execute services on the Integration Connectors, create and configure new Integration Connectors, or add services and API maps. Use the procedures in the following sections to modify these settings.

To apply changes to multiple Thing Templates or Things, use the mutli-select check boxes on the home tab. Then click Permissions at the top of the table.

Permission to Execute Services
Change the following settings to allow the desired users or groups to execute services on the Integration Connectors.
1. Edit the IntegrationRuntime Thing Template.
a. Under PERMISSIONS, select Run Time Instance.
b. Set the following operations to Allow:
▪ Property Read
▪ Service Execute
2. Edit the IntegrationSubsystem System.
a. Under PERMISSIONS, select Run Time.
b. Set the Service Execute operation to Allow.
3. Edit applicable Integration Connector Thing Templates.
a. Under PERMISSIONS, select Visibility.
b. Add the organizations where the desired users are members.
4. Edit applicable Integration Connector Things.
a. Select Run Time and set the Service Execute operation to Allow.
b. Select Design Time and set the Read operation to Allow.
c. Select Visibility and add organizations where the non-administrator users are members.
Advanced Permissions
Follow the steps below to change the permissions to allow the desired users or groups to create and configure new Integration Connectors and to add services and API maps.
1. Create or use an organization specific to the group of users for these permissions.
2. Edit the IntegrationRuntime Thing Template.
a. Under PERMISSIONS, select Run Time Instance.
b. Set the following operations to Allow:
▪ Property Read
▪ Service Execute
3. Edit the IntegrationSubsystem System.
a. Under PERMISSIONS, select Run Time.
b. Set the Service Execute operation to Allow.
4. Edit the applicable Integration Connector Things.
a. Select Design Time and set the following operations to Allow:
▪ Create
▪ Read
▪ Update
b. Select Run Time and set the Service Execute operation to Allow.
5. Edit applicable Data Shapes.
a. Under PERMISSIONS, select Design Time.
b. Set the following operations to Allow:
▪ Create
▪ Read
▪ Update
c. Under Run Time, set the Service Execute operation to Allow.
