Installing a ThingWorx Solution
Path A: Installing a Solution from Solution Central
To install an IoT solution that is packaged and published as a solution to Solution Central, refer to the
Deploy a Solution to Your ThingWorx Instance topic in the Solution Central Help Center.
Path B: Installing a Solution Packaged as an Extension
To install the IoT solution that is packaged as an extension, the recommended workflow is as follows:
1. Install the dependent extensions, if any.
2. Install the solution extensions.
3. If you are connecting to remote assets, create Thing Templates that derive from the Thing Templates of the extension.
4. If you are connecting to remote assets, create Remote Things to represent the connected assets.
