The third step validates that the ConnectionServicesHub Thing exists. This Thing is created upon import of the ThingWorx Azure IoT Extension into the ThingWorx Platform.

To validate the existence of the ConnectionServicesHub Thing, the name of the Connection Services Hub is loaded from the Connector configuration file.

If the ConnectionServicesHub Thing does not exist, the tool generates an error message and exits. Refer to Troubleshooting the Smoke Test for assistance.

If the ConnectionServicesHub Thing does exist, the tool continues to the next validation in the series, Smoke Test Step 4. Create a Test Thing.
