Upgrading to a 9.1 Maintenance Release
Upgrading to a maintenance release (for example, from 9.1.0 to 9.1.1) follows a simplified upgrade process.
1. Review the release notes for the ThingWorx Apps maintenance release for any release-specific upgrade instructions.
2. Upgrade your ThingWorx to the release that is compatible with the ThingWorx Apps maintenance release.
The compatible ThingWorx releases for each ThingWorx Apps maintenance release are identified in the release notes for the maintenance release.
3. Download and import the ThingWorx Apps extension files as described in steps 2 through 5 of Import the
Extension Files.
4. Restart your ThingWorx server.
5. Import any optional extensions as described in Import Optional Extensions.

During an upgrade, some optional extensions require a restart of the ThingWorx server after importing. If you are prompted, restart the ThingWorx server.

6. Complete steps 1 through 6 of the post import database configurations as described in Post Import
Database Configurations.

Be sure to perform steps 4 through 6 on the new PTC.Factory.C_LaunchPointConfigurationThing_[ReleaseVersion] Thing for the maintenance release.

7. Restart your ThingWorx server.
8. If you customized your ThingWorx Apps, refer to Upgrade and Customizations to address any impact to your customizations resulting from the upgrade.
9. Recommend that users clear the browser cache on any client machines.
