Exporting Equipment
Equipment information is exported from the Export tab of the Import and Export Equipment window. The export action is not limited to the context currently selected on the Equipment tab. For Administrators and Controls Engineers, the export action includes all equipment in all contexts. For Maintenance Managers, the export action includes information for all equipment to which the current user has read (Read) permission, in all contexts to which the current user has read (Read) permission.
To export equipment information currently defined for your system:
1. From the Equipment tab, click 
to open the Import and Export Equipment window.
to open the Import and Export Equipment window.2. On the Export tab, click Export. Depending on the amount of equipment data in the system, the export process can take some time and could slow system performance.
3. When the export completes, click the provided download link to download the export spreadsheet.
 | • Attributes with the following base types are not exported: BLOB, IMAGE, DASHBOARDNAME, PASSWORD, and XML. • When exporting a large number of assets, for example 1,000 assets, increasing the memory available for Apache Tomcat processes to 4GB is recommended. |
