Key performance indicators, or KPIs, are calculations and measurements used to gather information about the health and performance of production processes.

ThingWorx Apps provides implementations for four KPIs:

These KPIs can be used as examples for implementing additional KPIs. The KPI calculations can be customized independently at the Thing Template and Thing level. This allows each KPI to be calculated differently for different equipment types or for individual pieces of equipment. The calculations are performed based on changes in tracked data and the defined calculation schedules.
